Sea Kayaking, anything outdoors, swimming

I love CUBA - both for the diving and the people. Great places to still go here.

Geezers-on-gas

I am professional engineer working in the commercial and military diving industry for over 45 years. I've been a commercial diver/supervisor, submersible pilot, ROV operator, arctic explorer, photographer, cinematographer, lecturer and diving instructor. I was the Area/OPS Manager of the Canadian Great Lakes/East Coast Division of Can-Dive Services Ltd. and was one of the partners in that firm for 25 years. I have served as the Chairman of the CSA Diving Standards subcommittees and am currently the vice-chair for the main technical committee. I am a past President of the Canadian Association of Diving Contractors, am a currrent director and am also the webmaster of UnderwaterINDUSTRY and UnderwaterJOBS websites. I am also a professional photographer who makes makes great coffee but am a lousy cook - unless it is Chile!!

One more week until the kids and grand kids move out. Our boat should be going back into the water next week. The south florida dive season is beginning. Tomorrows dive canceled due to rough seas. I ordered the substrobe 160 on Friday. The camera gear is nearly ready. Mary is rehabing from knee replacement surgery.

No not quite.... this is what happens when you ride a VTR 1000 in a pair of shorts and a T shirt... all those spool pieces and risers will have to do without me me for a bit... heard sea water does not like roasties... apparently it hurts..

Dang, it's hard to imagine anyone older than I am who still puts a helmet on!

(Yeah, OK, John Roat is a notable exception!)

Good luck with this project - looks like a winner!
